Weather Stops Skydiving Action What Happens Now? - Black Knights Skydiving Centre Skip to main content

We really don’t like it when the weather stops skydiving action; it’s such a disappointment for everyone.  And with the British weather, a change in decision from being able to skydive to not, can come pretty quick.

When we have to cancel a days jumping, it’s always our priority to let you know as quickly as possible as we know people do travel from all over to come and skydive with us.  We advise everyone that’s due to jump to check our website, where on the top right hand side of the page you will see the jump forecast tool.  It will display the next days date and will either have, a tick, a cross, a clock or a question mark.

To find out what these mean, pop over to our forecast page and familiarise yourself with them, https://bkpc.co.uk/forecast-details/

We update this around 6pm every evening, as by then we should have a really good idea of what’s happening the following day.  But again, you never know with our weather!

If the weather does stop skydiving action, we will rebook you to the next date suitable to you, as quickly as we can.

That’s what happens when you are waiting on your skydiving day to come round. What happens if you have already arrived?

Sometimes, we can think it’s good to go for skydiving so of course everyone turns up and checks in, but the weather can change!  It just needs low clouds to appear, the wind to pick up or heavy showers to drop.

This means that your anticipated jump time will be put back till the weather clears.  We just simply can’t do anything about this, as your and our own safety always comes first without compromise.

In some cases, this means that it could be an all day event for you and any people that have come with you to watch you jump.  So come prepared, let the people know that are coming with you too, that you could be there all day from 8am till the weather clears.

We want everyone that comes to Black Knights Skydiving Centre to have a fantastic experience and leave with happy memories that will last a lifetime.

It’s our aim to get everyone up in the air that arrives, but as you can now see, this can’t always be the case.  If you have a jump booked with us then please make sure we have the correct contact details for you and do keep checking the jump forecast tool for updates.

If you’ve not booked a skydiving experience, then what are you waiting for?  Book today here and do something amazing.
