Tandem Skydive
A tandem skydive is the best way to experience a freefall. During this, you will be strapped to one of our fully qualified instructors, reaching a speed of approximately 120mph before your parachute is deployed. Our tandem jumps range from 7,000ft right up to 15,000ft – the highest in the UK.
Anyone over the age of 16 can take part in this fantastic experience of a lifetime. Furthermore, our drop zone operates all year round. All our instructors are fully trained and certified by British Skydiving, so you have complete peace of mind.

Static Line Courses
At Black Knights Skydiving Centre, we also offer static line parachute training. A traditional method of skydive training, static line parachuting involves the student jumper leaving the aircraft at 3,500ft. Your parachute which is attached to the aircraft is deployed by a ‘static line’. As you fall away from the aircraft, the line pulls the parachute out.
You only require 6-8 hours before taking to the skies. Our training covers aircraft drills, parachute equipment, controlling and landing your canopy and emergency procedures. If you’re interested, you can easily book online.

About Bolton & The Local Area
A large town in Greater Manchester, Bolton is a former mill town known for its textiles. It sits just 10 miles northwest of Manchester, with two direct train lines into the city. Additionally, it also has excellent motorway links. Bolton is a vibrant and welcoming area with many things to see and do.
Full of wonderful industrial heritage, some of Bolton’s most famous sons include Samuel Crompton and Fred Dibnah. They have all left a visible imprint on the town. One of the oldest manor houses in the North West is Smithills Hall. With over 2,000 acres of land, it holds a colourful history.
For your quickest route to our parachute centre from Bolton, take the M61 and M6 to Preston and take exit 33 from the M6. We are around 15 minutes from the junction. Our postcode is LA2 0DY, which can be entered into your Satnav.
