Professional AFF Courses
Black Knights Skydiving Centre can offer you the opportunity to complete the Accelerated Freefall course. Once you are an A License skydiver, you will have the skills to jump anywhere in the world. AFF is an intensive course and is faster than other courses currently available. It can also be completed in 7 days, weather permitting.
The first step is all about obtaining your Level 1 skydive. This consists of an all-day ground school, and jumping with two instructors from 15,000ft. This is usually split over 2 days. Following on from your level 1 completion, you can advance through the levels. Our professional instructors will help recommend which steps are best next.
Due to its intensive nature, Accelerated Freefall is best when you can commit to a period of time for training. Breaks in training may impact your performance and progression.

At Black Knights Skydiving Centre, we have been in operation for over 50 years. Our team of expert instructors are there to not only give you a fun time but to keep you safe. All our instructors are extremely experienced and always follow British Skydiving rules and regulations.
In addition to this, they are fully trained and qualified. They also have thousands of jumps under their belts. The parachute equipment we use is all high quality. It is also maintained by our experienced, professional packers.

About Workington & the Local Area
Workington is a coastal town on the West coast of Cumbria. It is also the main shopping hub. In Workington, Washington Square is a shopping centre full of retail names many are familiar with.
Helena Thompson Museum is a fantastic place to go if you’re interested in learning about the local area’s history. The museum boasts displays and interactive audio to make the experience even better. Carnegie Theatre & Arts Centre is also perfect if you enjoy watching local theatre.
For your quickest route to our parachute centre from Workington, get on the M6 from A66. Stay on the M6 until you reach exit 33. Take the A6 exit towards Garstang/Fleetwood. At Hampson Green Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Preston Lancaster Rd/A6. You will be around 11 minutes away. Our postcode is LA2 0DY, which can be entered into your satnav.
