The Black Knights Skydiving Centre has been operating for over 50 years making it the longest-running centre in the country.
Skydiving is our passion offering Accelerated Freefall courses all year round. All of our Tandem Instructors are trained to a high standard set by the British Skydiving to whom we are affiliated.
We are based just 15 minutes from Lancaster and Blackpool in the North West. ideally located for easy access from the M6 so coming in from Manchester or Liverpool is quick and easy. Fast, Reliable, and Ready for Adventure!
We are home to the awesome Black Hawk upgraded Cessna 208B Caravan aircraft for skydiving operations. N208AJ was the first aircraft of its model to be upgraded within the UK, increasing the standard PT6’s 675Hp to 850Hp. This allows us to climb to altitude in record time, with climb rates between 1500 and 2300 feet per minute depending on loading. This means we can get you up in the air for your skydive in super quick time.
The 208B Caravan is world renowned as one of the leading skydiving aircraft. It is extremely reliable and stable, both on the ground and in the air. It’s superb short field takeoff and landing capabilities allow us to carry up to 16 skydivers at a time safely.
Unlike many other similar aircraft, we have two rows of benches installed, allowing passengers a more comfortable ride to the top, instead of having to sit on the floor. The large cargo door and wind deflector makes exiting the the aircraft less challenging and allows a greater number of jumpers to exit simultaneously for formation events.
